Narrative:
Climbing sbound through FL240, failure of the aircraft's pressurization occurred. An emergency was declared with an immediate descent to 10000 ft. The problem was discovered through the routine monitoring of indicating system, then with cockpit warnings (visual and aural). Attempts to correct the problem manually were unsuccessful.

Title: PRESSURIZATION LOSS IN A FREIGHT OP OVER WACO, TX.
Narrative: CLBING SBOUND THROUGH FL240, FAILURE OF THE ACFT'S PRESSURIZATION OCCURRED. AN EMER WAS DECLARED WITH AN IMMEDIATE DSCNT TO 10000 FT. THE PROB WAS DISCOVERED THROUGH THE ROUTINE MONITORING OF INDICATING SYS, THEN WITH COCKPIT WARNINGS (VISUAL AND AURAL). ATTEMPTS TO CORRECT THE PROB MANUALLY WERE UNSUCCESSFUL.
