Narrative:
12900 pounds of fuel needed to be added due to inoperative fuel boost pump in #1 fuel tank. Remarks in flight plan stated that the fuel had been added in. I saw the captain and flight engineer with the MEL checking for compliance. I continued my duties, but failed to go back and xchk the fuel figures myself. Closeout was received and weights all agreed. Dispatch caught mistake before takeoff. We returned to the gate. Supplemental information from acn 480938: technician called to placard MEL 28-01A. I told technician to look into fixing the MEL and to call and let me know what was going on. I did information's on the flight and everything worked ok. MEL 29-01A calls for additional 12900 pounds. Instead of putting 13000 pounds on, I entered 13001 pounds and entered flight. I was relieved at XB00 and flight pushed on time. My relief saw the mistake and called bwi tower and had the aircraft returned to the gate. We looked at different options and none were able to work. Aircraft was called OTS and field trip to repair was scheduled.

INSTEAD OF PUTTING 13000 LBS ON, I ENTERED 13001 LBS AND ENTERED FLT. I WAS RELIEVED AT XB00 AND FLT PUSHED ON TIME. MY RELIEF SAW THE MISTAKE AND CALLED BWI TWR AND HAD THE ACFT RETURNED TO THE GATE. WE LOOKED AT DIFFERENT OPTIONS AND NONE WERE ABLE TO WORK. ACFT WAS CALLED OTS AND FIELD TRIP TO REPAIR WAS SCHEDULED.
