Narrative:
Landing on wet runway 4 at lga. Smooth rollout -- no rush was planning on taking it to the end. Passing taxiway uniform -- tower asked us to expedite off the runway. The taxiway was not obviously marked and we inavertently turned off just prior to the actual made a right turn back on the runway with another right turn onto the taxiway. I called tower at the gate and they said it was not problem even though in the confusion - he sent someone around. I really believe those txwys after the intersection should be more clearly marked -- but I definitely should not have turned off until I was positive I was on the proper taxiway.
