Narrative:

While being marshalled into parking in mia with 2 wing walkers and a marshaller, the #4 engine hit a baggage cart, approximately 10 ft from our final parking spot. The engine was already shut down and we were taxiing at a slow speed, damage was a dent in the cowling. While the marshaller was telling us to come forward, the first officer hit the brakes, saying he saw a guy out the right side of the aircraft giving the emergency stop signal. From the cockpit it looked like the cart wouldn't be a factor. The only explanation I can think of why the marshaller didn't see the baggage cart or the wingman was that he was so focused on the nose gear rather than scanning the area.
