Narrative:
We were at 16000 ft MSL over ign talking to ZNY. They advised us of traffic at 11 O'clock at 15000 ft MSL. Then we had a TCASII alert that requested a climb. We climbed to 16700 ft and the TCASII alert was resolved. We advised ZNY. However, he didn't seem to be too concerned.
