Narrative:
We departed lgw with 3 open write-ups in the cabin attendant logbook. The pad containing the write-ups had separated from the metal book and lodged in the logbook holder. The metal book contained 1 full pad and 1 new pad, so it appeared to be complete. The captain, so, lead flight attendant, and maintenance all checked the metal book which did not show any write-ups. Maintenance signed off the maintenance release and turnaround check. The pad was discovered en route when the lead pulled out the metal book to make a write-up.
