Narrative:
Corrosion was noted on passenger oxygen line when cleaning off dinol contamination. When I was shown the problem, mgrs, engineering, lead mechanics, and inspection was looking at it. It turned out the corrosion was never documented and the aircraft released for service.

Title: A B747-200 WAS DISPATCHED IN NON COMPLIANCE WITH CORROSION FOUND ON THE PAX OXYGEN MANIFOLD. IT WAS LEFT UNTREATED AND NOT DEFERRED.
Narrative: CORROSION WAS NOTED ON PAX OXYGEN LINE WHEN CLEANING OFF DINOL CONTAMINATION. WHEN I WAS SHOWN THE PROB, MGRS, ENGINEERING, LEAD MECHS, AND INSPECTION WAS LOOKING AT IT. IT TURNED OUT THE CORROSION WAS NEVER DOCUMENTED AND THE ACFT RELEASED FOR SVC.
