Narrative:
Location: esl, bucko arrival. Switched to 133.65 and attempted radio check-in. Returned to previous frequency. ZDC gave us vector left 360 degrees for descent to 15000 ft. No negative comments made by ATC. I've noticed that occasionally when switching frequencys on the B737 the numerals change when flopping frequency windows. I missed the frequency error, but caught it when I couldn't get the controller on the 134.65 to answer and returned to previous frequency.
