Narrative:
'We' landed in phl on runway 27R with a regional jet turning right on taxiway T but not completely off the active runway. While on our approach, below 500 ft AGL, I believed the rj would land and turn off at the customary place -- taxiway K4. 'They' (the RF) missed the turn and took, their sweet time (sorry) going down to taxiway T. I thought we could land with them completely off the runway, but I was wrong. The tower operator did not encourage the rj to expedite as so often is the case. I'm not sure the tower operator realized what happened as no one said a word about what had transpired. Next time, if I'm 50 ft AGL and the runway isn't clear, I'll go around. I made the assumption the rj would do a few things it didn't do. Again, I was incorrect in assuming.

Title: AN ACR FLC FLYING A B737 AT PHL RPTS LNDG WHILE ANOTHER ACFT IS STILL IN THE PROCESS OF EXITING THE RWY.
Narrative: 'WE' LANDED IN PHL ON RWY 27R WITH A REGIONAL JET TURNING R ON TXWY T BUT NOT COMPLETELY OFF THE ACTIVE RWY. WHILE ON OUR APCH, BELOW 500 FT AGL, I BELIEVED THE RJ WOULD LAND AND TURN OFF AT THE CUSTOMARY PLACE -- TXWY K4. 'THEY' (THE RF) MISSED THE TURN AND TOOK, THEIR SWEET TIME (SORRY) GOING DOWN TO TXWY T. I THOUGHT WE COULD LAND WITH THEM COMPLETELY OFF THE RWY, BUT I WAS WRONG. THE TWR OPERATOR DID NOT ENCOURAGE THE RJ TO EXPEDITE AS SO OFTEN IS THE CASE. I'M NOT SURE THE TWR OPERATOR REALIZED WHAT HAPPENED AS NO ONE SAID A WORD ABOUT WHAT HAD TRANSPIRED. NEXT TIME, IF I'M 50 FT AGL AND THE RWY ISN'T CLR, I'LL GO AROUND. I MADE THE ASSUMPTION THE RJ WOULD DO A FEW THINGS IT DIDN'T DO. AGAIN, I WAS INCORRECT IN ASSUMING.
