Narrative:
After returning from an outstation, I realized that the flare gun (required emergency equipment) was not in its appropriate place. Continued flight with problem concerning safety. Had the flare gun replaced once on the ground in atlanta. No further incident.

Title: AN EMB120 FLC FAILS TO NOTE THE ABSENCE OF THE FLARE GUN IN THE EMER KIT AT ORIGINATION STATION. FLC FLIES TO AN OUTLYING STATION PRIOR TO HAVING IT REPLACED WHEN RETURNING TO ATL, GA.
Narrative: AFTER RETURNING FROM AN OUTSTATION, I REALIZED THAT THE FLARE GUN (REQUIRED EMER EQUIP) WAS NOT IN ITS APPROPRIATE PLACE. CONTINUED FLT WITH PROB CONCERNING SAFETY. HAD THE FLARE GUN REPLACED ONCE ON THE GND IN ATLANTA. NO FURTHER INCIDENT.
