On approach to runway 22L GS OTS, localizer approach only gimee intersection 7.8 DME, step down from 2500 ft MSL to 1500 ft MSL. Tower advised low altitude alert. Level minimum vector altitude 1600 ft MSL. Had visual on runway. No conflict.
