Pgs 1 arrival las. We were at 8000 ft and cleared to 6500 ft. We had descent to 6500 ft and cleared for the approach. ATC complained to maintain 8000 ft at tiffy. ATC ordered stop descent and maintain 7000 ft. Later cleared for the approach.
