Narrative:
Flight from ord-ewr. Ground controller gave us incorrect taxi instruction to runway 32R. He left out 1 critical taxiway (T) which put us crossing a runway which I don't know if it was active. Both the first officer and I wrote down the extensive taxi instructions separately. Prior to crossing runway 9(?) we were told by ground we were not where we should be. He repeated the same instructions to another aircraft right after he chastised us and after he found aircraft taxiing via the incorrect route that he was giving, he changed his taxi instructions to include the missing taxiway (T). The controller was arrogant and condescending. No apologies were given and the remainder of the taxi was non eventful. The active runway we were taxied to runway 14L and both first officer and I had written down the same instructions that the controller gave us.

Title: ORD GND CTLR FAILED TO PROVIDE ONE OF THE ESSENTIAL TXWYS REQUIRED DURING TAXI CLRNC TO THE ACTIVE, RESULTING IN REROUTING A B737-300. OTHER ACFT FOLLOWED BEHIND.
Narrative: FLT FROM ORD-EWR. GND CTLR GAVE US INCORRECT TAXI INSTRUCTION TO RWY 32R. HE LEFT OUT 1 CRITICAL TXWY (T) WHICH PUT US XING A RWY WHICH I DON'T KNOW IF IT WAS ACTIVE. BOTH THE FO AND I WROTE DOWN THE EXTENSIVE TAXI INSTRUCTIONS SEPARATELY. PRIOR TO XING RWY 9(?) WE WERE TOLD BY GND WE WERE NOT WHERE WE SHOULD BE. HE REPEATED THE SAME INSTRUCTIONS TO ANOTHER ACFT RIGHT AFTER HE CHASTISED US AND AFTER HE FOUND ACFT TAXIING VIA THE INCORRECT RTE THAT HE WAS GIVING, HE CHANGED HIS TAXI INSTRUCTIONS TO INCLUDE THE MISSING TXWY (T). THE CTLR WAS ARROGANT AND CONDESCENDING. NO APOLOGIES WERE GIVEN AND THE REMAINDER OF THE TAXI WAS NON EVENTFUL. THE ACTIVE RWY WE WERE TAXIED TO RWY 14L AND BOTH FO AND I HAD WRITTEN DOWN THE SAME INSTRUCTIONS THAT THE CTLR GAVE US.
