Narrative:

Flying part 135, I flew in my grace month in the C207. When the end of the month came, the planned chkride was canceled. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: reporter stated that he did not know that he was considered legal in the C207 aircraft during the grace period month, as stipulated in far part 135.293(B). In addition, he stated that he had completed a test the month before in a C208, which is also a single engine class aircraft and did not know that the test also qualified him in the C207 since it was the same class of aircraft.
