Narrative:
On takeoff roll at jfk after we were cleared for takeoff, the tower made an unintelligible transmission to our flight. We were approaching V1 and the captain elected to continue takeoff and after safely airborne, the captain asked tower what they said to us during our takeoff roll and why. Their reply was for us to switch to departure control. This report is filed to alert them that they were possibly transmitting unintentionally, or if it was on purpose to highlight an unsafe radio call. Supplemental information from acn 486940: copilot and I are very sure we were cleared for takeoff but are filing as soon as possible just in case. Also upset on timing of transmission from tower with no clarification.

THIS RPT IS FILED TO ALERT THEM THAT THEY WERE POSSIBLY XMITTING UNINTENTIONALLY, OR IF IT WAS ON PURPOSE TO HIGHLIGHT AN UNSAFE RADIO CALL. SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 486940: COPLT AND I ARE VERY SURE WE WERE CLRED FOR TKOF BUT ARE FILING ASAP JUST IN CASE. ALSO UPSET ON TIMING OF XMISSION FROM TWR WITH NO CLARIFICATION.
