Narrative:
Our assigned/scheduled trip allowed for minimum rest and, due to delays, crew scheduling reduced the rest further to 8 hours. Today, it was brought to my attention by the union that I could not be reduced below 9 hours. This happened on three separate occasions. I was 22 mins short of 9 hours on one occasion and 26 mins short of 9 hours on another. I was too trusting of my company's crew scheduling in both cases. Obviously, lesson learned.
