Narrative:
This sequence originated from lga on oct/wed/00. The latest part ii revision out and available was for sep/xa/00. My mailbox is at lga and there were no later part 2 revisions as of when I left operations to begin my trip. This morning from phx, as I was preparing for my flight, I was surprised to learn that there was now a new runway at phx. A flight attendant told me. That was the first word I had about it. There was nothing about it on my flight plan paperwork or in any of the charts I had available to me. The only other hint I had was in the FMS software, revised oct/thu/00 that showed there was now runway 7L/right runways at phx. I had all the revisions that were available to me, but that was not good enough, since the revision with the new phx runways were out, and we did not have them -- not even NOTAMS mentioning it.
