Narrative:
While IFR cleared to descend from 7000 ft. Went to 700 ft vertical speed down, throttles in low limit. Several mins later noticed speed had increased to 270 KTS. At this time I retarded the throttles fully and began slowing. Center called and asked speed. First officer stated we were at 255 KTS and slowing. Rest of flight normal.
