Narrative:
Normal takeoff from lax on runway 25R for the loop departure. Cleared to 2000 ft. As we started to level off at 2000 ft, we got a TCASII RA to climb. Approach told us we had traffic at 2500 ft and reiterated to level at 2000 ft. I saw a light aircraft at 1 O'clock position and diving below our altitude. We followed the TCASII climb command and the light aircraft went below us when we were at 2120 ft. Sct then cleared us to 13000 ft.
