Narrative:

During a pre-departure cabin check, I discovered the couple seated in xb and xc were intoxicated. I immediately informed the captain, then the agents, that they would need to be removed. After the #1 flight attendant's call to operations, a supervisor came and removed them from the plane. The agents should have not allowed them to board. It was obvious they were drunk by the smell alone. When I informed the agents, they were indifferent and took no immediate action. The captain acted indifferent as well. If he had taken action immediately, we could have left on time. We left 5 mins late. Flight attendants were the only ones involved who were concerned about the law.
