Narrative:

On baret 4 arrival to san diego, imperial transition, initially cleared pillo at 10000 ft while holding assigned 310 KIAS. Approaching pillo, reclred direct swatt at 8000 ft (still in open descent, 310 KIAS). While monitoring first officer working mcdu, I flew through 10000 ft at 310 KIAS. Leveled off at 9000 ft and slowed to 250 KIAS. No calls from socal approach about speed.
