Narrative:
Made normal landing and nosewheel just collapsed. Normal landing with soft touchdown on main gear. Aircraft undergoing annual and repair. No conclusion reached as of this time. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: reporter landed on runway 4 at I60. After a normal landing on the main gear and a soft lowering of the nose, the nosewheel simply collapsed. All gear indications prior to landing were normal, with the gear indicating down and locked. The WX was no factor with light and variable winds being reported. The aircraft is now undergoing repair and no conclusion has yet been reached.

Title: C177RG HAD COLLAPSED NOSE LNDG GEAR ON LNDG AT I69.
Narrative: MADE NORMAL LNDG AND NOSEWHEEL JUST COLLAPSED. NORMAL LNDG WITH SOFT TOUCHDOWN ON MAIN GEAR. ACFT UNDERGOING ANNUAL AND REPAIR. NO CONCLUSION REACHED AS OF THIS TIME. CALLBACK CONVERSATION WITH RPTR REVEALED THE FOLLOWING INFO: RPTR LANDED ON RWY 4 AT I60. AFTER A NORMAL LNDG ON THE MAIN GEAR AND A SOFT LOWERING OF THE NOSE, THE NOSEWHEEL SIMPLY COLLAPSED. ALL GEAR INDICATIONS PRIOR TO LNDG WERE NORMAL, WITH THE GEAR INDICATING DOWN AND LOCKED. THE WX WAS NO FACTOR WITH LIGHT AND VARIABLE WINDS BEING RPTED. THE ACFT IS NOW UNDERGOING REPAIR AND NO CONCLUSION HAS YET BEEN REACHED.
