Narrative:
We were cleared into position and hold on runway 17R at dfw. Approximately 10 ft past (nose distance) hold short line, captain checked the final for runway 17R and noticed an aircraft Y appeared to be lined up on our runway. Aircraft Y was over the approach lights and approximately 250 ft AGL. We decided to stop the aircraft. We were not protruding onto the runway at all. We called the tower to tell them that we were still holding short. He then told aircraft Y that he had been cleared to land on runway 17C. Aircraft Y made a low altitude maneuver to change runways back to runway 17C. Once aircraft Y was on the ground, we were cleared into position for runway 17R and the flight continued without further incident.

ONCE ACFT Y WAS ON THE GND, WE WERE CLRED INTO POS FOR RWY 17R AND THE FLT CONTINUED WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT.
