Narrative:
Approaching tupelo, ms, in the afternoon of nov/xa/00, I transmitted numerous times to the tupelo unicom. There was no response. After landing, I asked about the unicom and asked if there was a new frequency. The FBO said there was a new tower. They did not know the frequency. I called (phone) the new tower. Told them I checked my WAC chart, flight guide and database with no mention of the new tower. Got fuel, called the new tower and took off.
