Narrative:
Missed altimeter setting. After leveling at FL310, fwc asked us to verify our altitude. We responded with FL310. He then asked us to verify altimeter 29.92. We then realized we had not reset at FL180 and were 500 ft off. We corrected immediately.

Title: F100 CREW DID NOT SET QNE AT THE TRANSITION LEVEL IN ZFW CLASS A AIRSPACE.
Narrative: MISSED ALTIMETER SETTING. AFTER LEVELING AT FL310, FWC ASKED US TO VERIFY OUR ALT. WE RESPONDED WITH FL310. HE THEN ASKED US TO VERIFY ALTIMETER 29.92. WE THEN REALIZED WE HAD NOT RESET AT FL180 AND WERE 500 FT OFF. WE CORRECTED IMMEDIATELY.
