Narrative:
Flight was cleared for takeoff on lga runway 31. The air carrier B737 landing on runway 22 became a factor as we rotated and started climbing. Lga tower instructed the B737 to go around and he complied. Now both of us were climbing right up into each other at the runway 31/runway 22 runway intersection. The B737 climbed and we leveled off and passed under him. Had we not leveled off, I'm very sure the result would have been very bad. The tower ATC controller lost his gap and should not have cleared us for takeoff until the B737 had landed.

Title: NMAC BTWN AN EMBRAER 135 JUST LIFTING OFF AND A B737 APCHING TO LAND ON AN INTERSECTING RWY AND SENT AROUND BY ATC.
Narrative: FLT WAS CLRED FOR TKOF ON LGA RWY 31. THE ACR B737 LNDG ON RWY 22 BECAME A FACTOR AS WE ROTATED AND STARTED CLBING. LGA TWR INSTRUCTED THE B737 TO GO AROUND AND HE COMPLIED. NOW BOTH OF US WERE CLBING RIGHT UP INTO EACH OTHER AT THE RWY 31/RWY 22 RWY INTXN. THE B737 CLBED AND WE LEVELED OFF AND PASSED UNDER HIM. HAD WE NOT LEVELED OFF, I'M VERY SURE THE RESULT WOULD HAVE BEEN VERY BAD. THE TWR ATC CTLR LOST HIS GAP AND SHOULD NOT HAVE CLRED US FOR TKOF UNTIL THE B737 HAD LANDED.
