Narrative:
I was the first officer on a crew that brought an EMB145 from ZZZ to YYY to XXX. We gave the airplane to another crew in grr. Our crew went to the hotel. Our captain received a call from the captain that took our aircraft and said that an inspector (FAA) rode in his jump seat. This inspector examined the aircraft maintenance log and found an MEL item having to do with the recline operation of the captain's seat. This item had been fixed in the maintenance base, but not cleared from the paperwork. This was, we were told by the other captain, what was considered a discrepancy by the inspector. I guess at XA30 in the morning the captain missed it, but we are a crew.

Title: E145 CREW HAD AN FAA ACR INSPECTOR FIND A DEFERRED LOG ITEM THAT WAS NOT CLRED AFTER REPAIR AT MGM.
Narrative: I WAS THE FO ON A CREW THAT BROUGHT AN EMB145 FROM ZZZ TO YYY TO XXX. WE GAVE THE AIRPLANE TO ANOTHER CREW IN GRR. OUR CREW WENT TO THE HOTEL. OUR CAPT RECEIVED A CALL FROM THE CAPT THAT TOOK OUR ACFT AND SAID THAT AN INSPECTOR (FAA) RODE IN HIS JUMP SEAT. THIS INSPECTOR EXAMINED THE ACFT MAINT LOG AND FOUND AN MEL ITEM HAVING TO DO WITH THE RECLINE OP OF THE CAPT'S SEAT. THIS ITEM HAD BEEN FIXED IN THE MAINT BASE, BUT NOT CLRED FROM THE PAPERWORK. THIS WAS, WE WERE TOLD BY THE OTHER CAPT, WHAT WAS CONSIDERED A DISCREPANCY BY THE INSPECTOR. I GUESS AT XA30 IN THE MORNING THE CAPT MISSED IT, BUT WE ARE A CREW.
