Narrative:
We were told by the cockpit that it was going to get bumpy. We had just finished with our first beverage service, when heavy turbulence hit. Only the flight attendants were about the cabin. Injuries could have been avoided if we were told to discontinue our service and situation down.

Title: CABIN ATTENDANT RPT, B757, SJU-EWR. TURB. CABIN ATTENDANT INJURIES. COMPLAINT THAT COCKPIT DIDN'T TELL CABIN ATTENDANTS TO DISCONTINUE SVC AND SIT DOWN.
Narrative: WE WERE TOLD BY THE COCKPIT THAT IT WAS GOING TO GET BUMPY. WE HAD JUST FINISHED WITH OUR FIRST BEVERAGE SVC, WHEN HVY TURB HIT. ONLY THE FLT ATTENDANTS WERE ABOUT THE CABIN. INJURIES COULD HAVE BEEN AVOIDED IF WE WERE TOLD TO DISCONTINUE OUR SVC AND SIT DOWN.
