Narrative:

May have landed on lax runway 24R without clearance. Event chronology: we had flown the pdz 4 arrival from tus via the tnp transition and were told by socal approach to expect runway 24R, which we were cleared for. After calling the airport in sight, we were cleared for the visual, runway 24R. There was a lot of traffic and a lot of radio calls. Contributing to the confusion were the multiple airspeed reductions on final by socal. The landing was normal. We turned off the runway at the reverse high speed taxiway Y and held short of runway 24L. On final approach, I had frequency 128.5 to the left select window and had put tower 133.9 in the right window. While waiting to cross runway 24L, I looked at the radio since we hadn't heard clearance to cross the runway and saw that we were on 128.5 and 121.65 (ground) was in the right window. I changed the right radio from 133.9 to 121.65 after we cleared the runway (runway 24R). The problem is that I don't remember if we were on tower, with clearance, or on socal approach throughout the landing. I remember being 'cleared,' but don't remember if it was for the visual approach or for landing. At this time I changed the radio to 133.9 and told tower we were holding short of runway 24L at taxiway Y. After an aircraft took off on runway 24L we were cleared to cross and to contact ground on 121.65, which we did. Ground control cleared us to gate via taxiway east, taxiway D10, taxiway D. We had no problems and no one said anything to us about contacting them.

Title: FLC OF A B737 LANDED WITHOUT CLRNC AT LAX.

Narrative: MAY HAVE LANDED ON LAX RWY 24R WITHOUT CLRNC. EVENT CHRONOLOGY: WE HAD FLOWN THE PDZ 4 ARR FROM TUS VIA THE TNP TRANSITION AND WERE TOLD BY SOCAL APCH TO EXPECT RWY 24R, WHICH WE WERE CLRED FOR. AFTER CALLING THE ARPT IN SIGHT, WE WERE CLRED FOR THE VISUAL, RWY 24R. THERE WAS A LOT OF TFC AND A LOT OF RADIO CALLS. CONTRIBUTING TO THE CONFUSION WERE THE MULTIPLE AIRSPD REDUCTIONS ON FINAL BY SOCAL. THE LNDG WAS NORMAL. WE TURNED OFF THE RWY AT THE REVERSE HIGH SPD TXWY Y AND HELD SHORT OF RWY 24L. ON FINAL APCH, I HAD FREQ 128.5 TO THE L SELECT WINDOW AND HAD PUT TWR 133.9 IN THE R WINDOW. WHILE WAITING TO CROSS RWY 24L, I LOOKED AT THE RADIO SINCE WE HADN'T HEARD CLRNC TO CROSS THE RWY AND SAW THAT WE WERE ON 128.5 AND 121.65 (GND) WAS IN THE R WINDOW. I CHANGED THE R RADIO FROM 133.9 TO 121.65 AFTER WE CLRED THE RWY (RWY 24R). THE PROB IS THAT I DON'T REMEMBER IF WE WERE ON TWR, WITH CLRNC, OR ON SOCAL APCH THROUGHOUT THE LNDG. I REMEMBER BEING 'CLRED,' BUT DON'T REMEMBER IF IT WAS FOR THE VISUAL APCH OR FOR LNDG. AT THIS TIME I CHANGED THE RADIO TO 133.9 AND TOLD TWR WE WERE HOLDING SHORT OF RWY 24L AT TXWY Y. AFTER AN ACFT TOOK OFF ON RWY 24L WE WERE CLRED TO CROSS AND TO CONTACT GND ON 121.65, WHICH WE DID. GND CTL CLRED US TO GATE VIA TXWY E, TXWY D10, TXWY D. WE HAD NO PROBS AND NO ONE SAID ANYTHING TO US ABOUT CONTACTING THEM.
