Narrative:
I was vectoring air carrier X for in-trail spacing to phoenix. I turned him to a heading of 150 degree for the spacing. That put him in conflict with air carrier Y, both aircraft were at FL310. I waited about 1 min before I turned air carrier X to a 240 degree heading and back on course. I then turned air carrier Y to a 350 degree heading to go behind air carrier X. Separation was lost and closest proximity was about 3 mi. Furthermore, both aircraft received TCASII alerts and responded. Air carrier Y descended with an aircraft (air carrier Z) at FL290 underneath him. Separation was lost between air carrier Y and air carrier Z.
Original NASA ASRS Text
Title: ZDV ARTCC CTLR LOST SEPARATION WHEN HE TURNED AN ACR TOO CLOSELY TO TFC FOR SPACING. THE CTLR'S ACTION ALSO RESULTED IN A TCASII RA CAUSING A LOSS OF SEPARATION WITH THIRD ACFT AT A LOWER ALT.
