Narrative:
Student took a solo cross country and returned at night. Student was scheduled to take the flight at XA00, aircraft was returned late and student took off at XB40 and returned XE45. The student was endorsed by instructor for the cross country. Instructor was not aware that the student took the aircraft at the later time. As a result, the student returned from the cross country at night without a night endorsement. Aside from that, there was no other incident.

Title: STUDENT PLT COMPLETED SOLO XCOUNTRY FLT AT NIGHT WITHOUT NIGHT ENDORSEMENT.
Narrative: STUDENT TOOK A SOLO XCOUNTRY AND RETURNED AT NIGHT. STUDENT WAS SCHEDULED TO TAKE THE FLT AT XA00, ACFT WAS RETURNED LATE AND STUDENT TOOK OFF AT XB40 AND RETURNED XE45. THE STUDENT WAS ENDORSED BY INSTRUCTOR FOR THE XCOUNTRY. INSTRUCTOR WAS NOT AWARE THAT THE STUDENT TOOK THE ACFT AT THE LATER TIME. AS A RESULT, THE STUDENT RETURNED FROM THE XCOUNTRY AT NIGHT WITHOUT A NIGHT ENDORSEMENT. ASIDE FROM THAT, THERE WAS NO OTHER INCIDENT.
