Narrative:
Installed a 'light' tire assembly on aircraft xyz when we removed a 'heavy' tire. The error was caught internally and the tire was corrected on dec/xa/00. Also, since I was just helping on the job, I did not fully read the maintenance manual, so I was not aware of the tire differences.

Title: A B777-300 WAS DISPATCHED IN NON COMPLIANCE WITH AN INCORRECT R MAIN GEAR TIRE AND WHEEL ASSEMBLY INSTALLED.
Narrative: INSTALLED A 'LIGHT' TIRE ASSEMBLY ON ACFT XYZ WHEN WE REMOVED A 'HVY' TIRE. THE ERROR WAS CAUGHT INTERNALLY AND THE TIRE WAS CORRECTED ON DEC/XA/00. ALSO, SINCE I WAS JUST HELPING ON THE JOB, I DID NOT FULLY READ THE MAINT MANUAL, SO I WAS NOT AWARE OF THE TIRE DIFFERENCES.
