Narrative:
Given clearance to 3000 ft, expect 7000 ft 10 mins after departure. Climbed up to 6500 ft on departure without receiving clearance above 3000 ft. Macon departure asked at 6500 ft what altitude I was cleared to. At that time I realized I had forgotten to level at 3000 ft. Had bad waypoint in LORAN and was concentrating on fixing waypoint. No other traffic or conflicts.
