Narrative:
First time I have departed jackson, mi, at night after they moved the txwys around. Ground told me to taxi to runway 32. I taxied that way. At the center of runway 32, the taxiway intersected with runway 32. The old procedure was always to call ground as you crossed over the runway, before you crossed, since the taxi route required crossing runway 32. It was dark and I did this, but ended up on the very edge of runway 32 before the tower stopped me. Snow covered the hold short lines. They had me go ahead and back-taxi on runway 32 since there was no traffic.
