Narrative:
I departed circleville, oh, flew wbound to washington court house, then set and turned to course to hamilton (hao). The course set took our aircraft east of iln, with a heading of 240 degrees. Altitude at the time was about 2900 ft. My attention was on flying the airplane and looking for traffic in the area, as well as conversation with my passenger. I looked to the right of the aircraft and noticed I was closer to iln than I should be. I believe I entered the edge of the iln class D airspace. Noticing the possible incursion into controled airspace, I turned left to a south heading to increase distance between the aircraft and iln. I was not in radio contact with anyone, other than unicom. During such VFR flights, I change direction if the new route looks better. I intend to stop such activity. I should set the course, and maintain the course, as planned.

Title: A LIGHT ACFT PLT ENTERED CLASS D AIRSPACE WITHOUT CONTACTING TWR.
Narrative: I DEPARTED CIRCLEVILLE, OH, FLEW WBOUND TO WASHINGTON COURT HOUSE, THEN SET AND TURNED TO COURSE TO HAMILTON (HAO). THE COURSE SET TOOK OUR ACFT E OF ILN, WITH A HDG OF 240 DEGS. ALT AT THE TIME WAS ABOUT 2900 FT. MY ATTN WAS ON FLYING THE AIRPLANE AND LOOKING FOR TFC IN THE AREA, AS WELL AS CONVERSATION WITH MY PAX. I LOOKED TO THE R OF THE ACFT AND NOTICED I WAS CLOSER TO ILN THAN I SHOULD BE. I BELIEVE I ENTERED THE EDGE OF THE ILN CLASS D AIRSPACE. NOTICING THE POSSIBLE INCURSION INTO CTLED AIRSPACE, I TURNED L TO A S HDG TO INCREASE DISTANCE BTWN THE ACFT AND ILN.
