Narrative:
A passenger boarded the aircraft in ccs, intoxicated, unknown to the crew. He was offered a predep beverage, and had a total of 5 mixed alcoholic drinks within 1.5 hours after takeoff. The flight attendants in first class decided to cut him off. He became very disruptive and was very intimidating to the crew. I was asked by the purser and the captain to work in the first class cabin to help calm the situation. He became more irate and I tried to calm him down. The passenger was intoxicated and should have not boarded or been on our flight. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: the reporter stated that the purser called him back from his coach position to first class because the man had started to threaten the female flight attendants. The man was on his honeymoon, and his wife seemed embarrassed to be with him and kept looking out the window. They did not divert to remove the passenger. At one point, the captain sent back a cockpit jump seater to watch the cabin. The captain came back several times to try and reason with the man, and finally had it with him and called ACARS 45 mins out for auths to meet the flight. No one met the flight, so the couple just walked off with no repercussions.

Title: CABIN ATTENDANT RPT, B757-200, CARACAS-MIAMI. MAN ALLOWED TO BOARD INTOXICATED, UNRULY, AND THREATENING. CAPT CAME BACK TWICE, CALLED FOR AUTHS TO MEET FLT, BUT NO AUTHORITIES SHOWED UP.
Narrative: A PAX BOARDED THE ACFT IN CCS, INTOXICATED, UNKNOWN TO THE CREW. HE WAS OFFERED A PREDEP BEVERAGE, AND HAD A TOTAL OF 5 MIXED ALCOHOLIC DRINKS WITHIN 1.5 HRS AFTER TKOF. THE FLT ATTENDANTS IN FIRST CLASS DECIDED TO CUT HIM OFF. HE BECAME VERY DISRUPTIVE AND WAS VERY INTIMIDATING TO THE CREW. I WAS ASKED BY THE PURSER AND THE CAPT TO WORK IN THE FIRST CLASS CABIN TO HELP CALM THE SIT. HE BECAME MORE IRATE AND I TRIED TO CALM HIM DOWN. THE PAX WAS INTOXICATED AND SHOULD HAVE NOT BOARDED OR BEEN ON OUR FLT. CALLBACK CONVERSATION WITH RPTR REVEALED THE FOLLOWING INFO: THE RPTR STATED THAT THE PURSER CALLED HIM BACK FROM HIS COACH POS TO FIRST CLASS BECAUSE THE MAN HAD STARTED TO THREATEN THE FEMALE FLT ATTENDANTS. THE MAN WAS ON HIS HONEYMOON, AND HIS WIFE SEEMED EMBARRASSED TO BE WITH HIM AND KEPT LOOKING OUT THE WINDOW. THEY DID NOT DIVERT TO REMOVE THE PAX. AT ONE POINT, THE CAPT SENT BACK A COCKPIT JUMP SEATER TO WATCH THE CABIN. THE CAPT CAME BACK SEVERAL TIMES TO TRY AND REASON WITH THE MAN, AND FINALLY HAD IT WITH HIM AND CALLED ACARS 45 MINS OUT FOR AUTHS TO MEET THE FLT. NO ONE MET THE FLT, SO THE COUPLE JUST WALKED OFF WITH NO REPERCUSSIONS.
