Narrative:

While preparing to depart, we had been cleared to depart VFR and pick up our clearance from departure. The captain decided to take the runway. There was a small plane less than 1/2 mi from the end of the runway. I advised the captain to stop, but he kept going. I repeated myself and said to stop, but he continued and said he could make it. He took off down the runway, and the small plane had to go around due to this decision. The captain was forcing the departure to fit between an arrival and departure of aircraft, instead of waiting in turn. The captain maneuvered the plane down the runway and out of the traffic pattern.
