Narrative:
After landing runway 4R at jfk, we taxied via taxiway fb, taxiway za, taxiway C, taxiway west and were to turn on taxiway B to taxi to taxiway va to the ramp. While we were turning onto taxiway B, the aircraft started to slide on the ice. I came to a complete stop so as to not leave the prepared surface of the taxiway and we called for a tug to take us to the gate as I was unsure of my ability to continue without leaving the taxiway. A tug arrived, pushed us back slightly and towed us to the gate. At no time did the aircraft leave the designated prepared surface of the taxiway.
