Narrative:
I was flight attendant #3 working in first class on a B757 flight from lax-dfw on jan/xa/01. The first I had heard of passenger XXXX is when after takeoff the flight attendants working in main cabin complained about a woman that would not stay seated. The seatbelt sign was on the entire flight because of her. Approximately 2 hours into the flight, she wanted to use the first class lavatory. She got very upset when she noticed a few paper towels had fallen into the toilet. She refused to use it. Our #1 flight attendant showed me a dollar bill XXXX had given to him to give to the captain. I read 'dear CCC, I love you XXXX' -- something to that effect. #1 flight attendant kept the captain informed on all that was going on while I tried to keep some level of service in first class. About 13 hours into the flight, with ongoing disruptions in main cabin, she came up to first class again. (I was in the aisle with a tray, #1 flight attendant was in the cockpit.) she said to me in a very loud voice, 'I need to see the captain.' I told her to take her seat because of the seatbelt sign and that she could speak with the captain when we get to the gate in dfw. She then said 'they told me to come up here and see the purser.' she then pushed by me and said 'I have to use the bathroom.' meanwhile, #1 flight attendant came out of the cockpit to assist me in the aisle. I was just about to tell him that XXXX was in the lavatory when she came out and immediately turned and jerked open the cockpit door. #1 flight attendant was approximately 5-6 ft away with ceramic nut cups in his hands. He ran and pulled her out by the shoulder and pinned her against the lavatory door while he slammed the cockpit door with his fist -- still filled with nut cups! He made her take her seat and told her she was not to get up again. We both went to the cockpit and the captain wanted to know if we were ok. We were just shaking from the adrenaline. #1 flight attendant's hand was sore but ok. We tested the door and found it wasn't locking. The captain said he had called for the police to meet us at the gates and remove her before anyone deplanes. Comments: 1) cockpit door should lock properly and/or be reinforced to be stronger. 2) hold family responsible. My understanding was XXXX had been refusing medication and her family put her on the aircraft for mental treatment in dallas. She should not have been unaccompanied or not allowed to fly.

Title: PAX WHO ALLEGEDLY WAS REFUSING NEEDED MEDICATION BECOMES UNRULY AND TRIES TO FORCE ENTRY INTO THE COCKPIT. CABIN CREW RESTRAINS. LAW ENFORCEMENT MEET FLT ON ARR.
Narrative: I WAS FLT ATTENDANT #3 WORKING IN FIRST CLASS ON A B757 FLT FROM LAX-DFW ON JAN/XA/01. THE FIRST I HAD HEARD OF PAX XXXX IS WHEN AFTER TKOF THE FLT ATTENDANTS WORKING IN MAIN CABIN COMPLAINED ABOUT A WOMAN THAT WOULD NOT STAY SEATED. THE SEATBELT SIGN WAS ON THE ENTIRE FLT BECAUSE OF HER. APPROX 2 HRS INTO THE FLT, SHE WANTED TO USE THE FIRST CLASS LAVATORY. SHE GOT VERY UPSET WHEN SHE NOTICED A FEW PAPER TOWELS HAD FALLEN INTO THE TOILET. SHE REFUSED TO USE IT. OUR #1 FLT ATTENDANT SHOWED ME A DOLLAR BILL XXXX HAD GIVEN TO HIM TO GIVE TO THE CAPT. I READ 'DEAR CCC, I LOVE YOU XXXX' -- SOMETHING TO THAT EFFECT. #1 FLT ATTENDANT KEPT THE CAPT INFORMED ON ALL THAT WAS GOING ON WHILE I TRIED TO KEEP SOME LEVEL OF SVC IN FIRST CLASS. ABOUT 13 HRS INTO THE FLT, WITH ONGOING DISRUPTIONS IN MAIN CABIN, SHE CAME UP TO FIRST CLASS AGAIN. (I WAS IN THE AISLE WITH A TRAY, #1 FLT ATTENDANT WAS IN THE COCKPIT.) SHE SAID TO ME IN A VERY LOUD VOICE, 'I NEED TO SEE THE CAPT.' I TOLD HER TO TAKE HER SEAT BECAUSE OF THE SEATBELT SIGN AND THAT SHE COULD SPEAK WITH THE CAPT WHEN WE GET TO THE GATE IN DFW. SHE THEN SAID 'THEY TOLD ME TO COME UP HERE AND SEE THE PURSER.' SHE THEN PUSHED BY ME AND SAID 'I HAVE TO USE THE BATHROOM.' MEANWHILE, #1 FLT ATTENDANT CAME OUT OF THE COCKPIT TO ASSIST ME IN THE AISLE. I WAS JUST ABOUT TO TELL HIM THAT XXXX WAS IN THE LAVATORY WHEN SHE CAME OUT AND IMMEDIATELY TURNED AND JERKED OPEN THE COCKPIT DOOR. #1 FLT ATTENDANT WAS APPROX 5-6 FT AWAY WITH CERAMIC NUT CUPS IN HIS HANDS. WE BOTH WENT TO THE COCKPIT AND THE CAPT WANTED TO KNOW IF WE WERE OK. WE WERE JUST SHAKING FROM THE ADRENALINE. #1 FLT ATTENDANT'S HAND WAS SORE BUT OK. WE TESTED THE DOOR AND FOUND IT WASN'T LOCKING. THE CAPT SAID HE HAD CALLED FOR THE POLICE TO MEET US AT THE GATES AND REMOVE HER BEFORE ANYONE DEPLANES. COMMENTS: 1) COCKPIT DOOR SHOULD LOCK PROPERLY AND/OR BE REINFORCED TO BE STRONGER. 2) HOLD FAMILY RESPONSIBLE. MY UNDERSTANDING WAS XXXX HAD BEEN REFUSING MEDICATION AND HER FAMILY PUT HER ON THE ACFT FOR MENTAL TREATMENT IN DALLAS. SHE SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN UNACCOMPANIED OR NOT ALLOWED TO FLY.
