Narrative:
While taxiing at the south end of meridian marcan airport in front of the hangars, dropped into drainage ditch in the middle of the tarmac and struck propeller on the asphalt. The next day, measured distance from top of hole to bottom -- it was 3 1/2 - 4 inches. Notified airport of the problem. Solution: talked to FAA personnel and he said to see if someone can fix the problem which is the drainage ditch. Airport personnel didn't seem to care.
