Narrative:
We were given clearance to descend from FL290 to FL270 and also a frequency change. We were talking to control on XXX.X and were given YYY.Y. We rogered the descent to FL270 and the frequency change. Started descent and picked up a TCASII advisory and then a climb resolution. I started climb and noticed 600 ft on TCASII. Went back to FL290 and called center on new frequency. They said we were on wrong frequency and sent us back to old frequency. They said the descent was not for us and apologized for the mistake.
