Narrative:
We were given clearance to cross alo at FL260. ATC asked us our altitude prior to alo. That keyed us to descend to FL260 as quickly as possible. We were about 3 mi late in crossing the fix. There appeared to be no conflicts with other traffic. We were in VMC night conditions.
