Narrative:
Pit approach control advised about mooney climbing to 9500 ft, we were level at 10000 ft in and out of broken clouds. As mooney approached below us, we received and responded to a climb RA, climbed to 10700 ft, advised ATC and then when clear of conflict, descended back to 10000 ft. Never saw mooney. Supplemental information from acn 502820: while descending to 10000 ft with pit approach control, received RA on TCASII for traffic 9500 ft VFR. Bottom of cloud deck looked about 9000-9500 ft and VFR traffic could not be seen. Initiated climb and climbed to 10700 ft to silence warning and advised ATC.

Narrative: PIT APCH CTL ADVISED ABOUT MOONEY CLBING TO 9500 FT, WE WERE LEVEL AT 10000 FT IN AND OUT OF BROKEN CLOUDS. AS MOONEY APCHED BELOW US, WE RECEIVED AND RESPONDED TO A CLB RA, CLBED TO 10700 FT, ADVISED ATC AND THEN WHEN CLR OF CONFLICT, DSNDED BACK TO 10000 FT. NEVER SAW MOONEY. SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 502820: WHILE DSNDING TO 10000 FT WITH PIT APCH CTL, RECEIVED RA ON TCASII FOR TFC 9500 FT VFR. BOTTOM OF CLOUD DECK LOOKED ABOUT 9000-9500 FT AND VFR TFC COULD NOT BE SEEN. INITIATED CLB AND CLBED TO 10700 FT TO SILENCE WARNING AND ADVISED ATC.
