Narrative:
Flight attendant reported a metallic 'rolling, banging' noise on ground in ZZZ. Maintenance looked for source but found nothing. Upon arrival in XXX, flight attendant reported that noise was still there (during rollout at high speed). Captain elected not to summon maintenance until return to ZZZ, which I concurred with due to apparent minor nature of problem and earlier maintenance inspection. In retrospect, however, we should have summoned (contract) maintenance in XXX (an outstation). Clearly the noise still existed. Perhaps not a big deal, perhaps a sign of a bigger problem. If it was important enough to write up, it should have been done no matter what our location. We were running late, no doubt that time pressure and our desire to return to base had some affect on our decision.

Title: A CANADAIR CL65 WITH A FLT ATTENDANT RPT OF ROLLING AND BANGING NOISE ON THE GND IS NOT ENTERED IN THE LOGBOOK UNTIL ARRIVING AT A COMPANY MAINT STATION.

UPON ARR IN XXX, FLT ATTENDANT RPTED THAT NOISE WAS STILL THERE (DURING ROLLOUT AT HIGH SPD). CAPT ELECTED NOT TO SUMMON MAINT UNTIL RETURN TO ZZZ, WHICH I CONCURRED WITH DUE TO APPARENT MINOR NATURE OF PROB AND EARLIER MAINT INSPECTION. IN RETROSPECT, HOWEVER, WE SHOULD HAVE SUMMONED (CONTRACT) MAINT IN XXX (AN OUTSTATION). CLRLY THE NOISE STILL EXISTED. PERHAPS NOT A BIG DEAL, PERHAPS A SIGN OF A BIGGER PROB.
