Narrative:
Had been VFR mission with ZME for 2+ hours at columbus, ms, turned to tupelo for food and fuel. Handoff from one controller to another center controller who canceled VFR advisories to code 1200, 25 mi from tupelo without any advisories, just 'contact tupelo tower.' commercial low en route chart lists tupelo as CTAF 123.05. Made several calls with no reply. Went back to memphis and asked him to verify tower operating frequency. Controller would not reply, even with second request. Back to CTAF, made my calls 15-10 mi out. Checked ASOS. Wind 170 degrees at 4 KTS. Planned left downwind to 180. Called 5 mi. Checked onboard GPS for frequency. Could set to called menu of frequency of tupelo and made call into left downwind, looked for traffic on ground (both directions), even looked for a tower location on ground -- so did #2 with me. Called base runway 18, called final runway 18. Short final, saw aircraft climbing out northbound turning east at about 800-1000 ft AGL. All my lights were on -- SOP. On rollout, saw #2 aircraft near south end of runway at pattern altitude, flying west to east. Taxied in to FBO at southeast of field. First question was frequency of CTAF. Controller said 123.05. Went to bathroom. Got call from tower, true frequency is 118.77 and ground 121.82. Called commercial chart company monday and talked to chart representative. Representative said that company never puts tower frequency on charts as CTAF-only unicom. Map did list correct frequency for tower as 118.77, but not on face of map. United states terminal procedures shows tupelo as CTAF 123.05, tower on 118.775. Did not plan to stop in mississippi for food, fuel or bathroom. Had fuel for 2+ hours. Needed bathroom stop. Only fly with approach of central and united states low altitude en route charts (subscription). Buy any united states terminal when I plan to land in/out of service area.

Title: PA31 CPR PLT LANDS TUP WITHOUT CLRNC WHEN UNABLE TO FIND TWR FREQ ON CHARTS.
Narrative: HAD BEEN VFR MISSION WITH ZME FOR 2+ HRS AT COLUMBUS, MS, TURNED TO TUPELO FOR FOOD AND FUEL. COULD SET TO CALLED MENU OF FREQ OF TUPELO AND MADE CALL INTO L DOWNWIND, LOOKED FOR TFC ON GND (BOTH DIRECTIONS), EVEN LOOKED FOR A TWR LOCATION ON GND -- SO DID #2 WITH ME. CALLED BASE RWY 18, CALLED FINAL RWY 18. SHORT FINAL, SAW ACFT CLBING OUT NBOUND TURNING E AT ABOUT 800-1000 FT AGL. ALL MY LIGHTS WERE ON -- SOP. ON ROLLOUT, SAW #2 ACFT NEAR S END OF RWY AT PATTERN ALT, FLYING W TO E. TAXIED IN TO FBO AT SE OF FIELD. FIRST QUESTION WAS FREQ OF CTAF. CTLR SAID 123.05. WENT TO BATHROOM. GOT CALL FROM TWR, TRUE FREQ IS 118.77 AND GND 121.82. CALLED COMMERCIAL CHART COMPANY MONDAY AND TALKED TO CHART REPRESENTATIVE. REPRESENTATIVE SAID THAT COMPANY NEVER PUTS TWR FREQ ON CHARTS AS CTAF-ONLY UNICOM. MAP DID LIST CORRECT FREQ FOR TWR AS 118.77, BUT NOT ON FACE OF MAP. UNITED STATES TERMINAL PROCS SHOWS TUPELO AS CTAF 123.05, TWR ON 118.775. DID NOT PLAN TO STOP IN MISSISSIPPI FOR FOOD, FUEL OR BATHROOM. HAD FUEL FOR 2+ HRS. NEEDED BATHROOM STOP. ONLY FLY WITH APCH OF CENTRAL AND UNITED STATES LOW ALT ENRTE CHARTS (SUBSCRIPTION). BUY ANY UNITED STATES TERMINAL WHEN I PLAN TO LAND IN/OUT OF SVC AREA.
