Narrative:
After missed approach from bur was level at 3000 ft MSL on radar vector. GPWS 'terrain' warning activated. Initiated escape maneuver to 4000 ft until warning ceased and were VFR on top. Advised ATC.

Narrative: AFTER MISSED APCH FROM BUR WAS LEVEL AT 3000 FT MSL ON RADAR VECTOR. GPWS 'TERRAIN' WARNING ACTIVATED. INITIATED ESCAPE MANEUVER TO 4000 FT UNTIL WARNING CEASED AND WERE VFR ON TOP. ADVISED ATC.
