Narrative:
We made an emergency landing back at dfw due to a fuel leak. We landed uneventfully, but slightly over maximum landing weight. I was so upset by the chain of events that it did not occur to me that we could have landed overweight until days later. Although a write-up was made for the fuel leak, I did not record one for the overweight landing.
