Narrative:

I received a call from my chief pilot on mar/tue/01 at XA00. He informed me that the LNAV database on my aircraft on mar/thu/01 had expired on mar/wed/01. I was surprised because at our last destination airport, we were met by maintenance. My first officer and I looked at the dates again and still 'saw' mar/thu/01. Now looking back, what was displayed was feb/thu/01 mar/wed/01. The database had not been updated before mar/thu/01. We flew 4 legs on mar/thu/01.
