Narrative:
On mar/xa/01 aircraft xyz was scheduled on flight abc from ZZZ to XXX. While the aircraft was still in the air, we received a radio message that there was a 'tiny hole left underside of tab of aileron.' the crew obviously were aware of this prior to departure yet flew the aircraft anyway. I feel this is a very unsafe practice since the aircraft was taken OTS after inspection at ZZZ.
