Narrative:

It was the first day of the pairing, mar/thu/01, that began in ont and finished in ont. We flew 2 legs, with the navigation data out of date in the FMC, due to a maintenance error. During my initial preflight, I had missed that the navigation data was out of date. I had looked at the date, but it didn't register to me that it was out of date. Lesson learned: I will check navigation data dates with the current date to ensure we are current.
